However, there are situations in which a charge air cooler which is cooled by the airstream, simply cannot be installed. Very often e.g. with rear engines. In certain areas of application, a particularly short air duct is also advantageous, where the air path through the vehicle front is simply too long- Forthese cases we also offer various water-cooled intercoolerss. The radiators must be fitted with a water circuit with a small water cooler which then sits in the airstream and cools the water that flows through the fins of the charge air cooler and then cools the charge air again.
