Liberty Fabrics Adelphi Voyage Crepe de Chine | Adelphi voyage draws inspiration from the fusion of two mid-19th century hand-painted shawl designs. Reimagined in the studio with meticulous attention to detail, it captures a rich depth of colour, bursting with an abundance of verdant botanicals. Perfumer hamid merati-kashani's fragrance interpretation in adelphi sun sows a medley of fresh grass, dewy greens and twists of juicy citrus peel all drizzled with honeyed floral nectar basking in the warmth of the late afternoon sunbeams. Crepe de chine is one of the best silk bases for daytime wear it's effortlessly luxe, with a lightweight drape that's made more durable by its matte, slightly rough surface. Try using crepe de chine to create a louche effect with wide-leg trousers and loosely tailored shirts, or with fluted sleeves and ruffled accents for a romantic feel.
