Liberty Fabrics Orchard Crepe de Chine | Embracing a quintessential arts & crafts aesthetic, the original design for orchard was created in 1976 and showcases a mirrored trail of graceful leafy branches and fluttering butterflies, interspersed with clusters of blossom flowers and citrus fruits. Perfumer gabriela chelariu was inspired by its organic, flowing trellis to create liberty maze, which with its notes of jasmine and honeysuckle captures the vibrant impressions and fragrant aromas of a sunlit summer's day. Crepe de chine is one of the best silk bases for daytime wear it's effortlessly luxe, with a lightweight drape that's made more durable by its matte, slightly rough surface. Try using crepe de chine to create a louche effect with wide-leg trousers and loosely tailored shirts, or with fluted sleeves and ruffled accents for a romantic feel.
