The formula combines mineral filler, linseed oil, plasticiser, and white spirit into a homogeneous compound that handles consistently and remains stable at normal ambient temperatures. Where and How to Use It: This putty is suitable for bedding and external fronting of single glass into primed softwood and hardwood frames, as well as glazing primed metal frames and single glass set into concrete or stone surrounds after prior sealing. It also works as a general wood filler for cracks and gaps ahead of ting. It is not suitable for use directly against laminated glass, in bead glazing systems, or with insulated glass units. table and Weather-Resistant: Once applied and pressed to give a back bedding of 1 to 2mm, the putty should be left before ting - the first coat is typically applied within 7 to 21 days, with the final coat within 28 days.
