This flexibility means the coating expands and contracts with the natural movement of the wood, actively resisting peeling, flaking, and blistering on exposed joinery such as windows, doors, and conservatories. Built-In UV Filters and Weather Resistance: The formula incorporates UV filters and water-repellent technology to help maintain the warm Burma Teak tone against sun exposure and moisture over time. The translucent, satin finish allows the natural grain of the wood to remain visible, giving exterior joinery a finished appearance without masking the timber beneath. Coverage and Application: One litre covers up to 15 m² on planed softwood or hardwood in two coats. For new or bare timber, Sadolin recommend applying one coat of Sadolin Classic as a base coat before applying two coats of Sadolin Extra for optimum durability. Apply by brush only — Sadolin do not recommend spraying this product. Ensure timber moisture content does not exceed 18% before application.
