70cl / 52.5% / Gordon & MacPhail - Closed in 1983, Port Ellen has since become one of the most sought-after whiskies in the world. This release was matured in a refill sherry butt for 42 years and evokes aromas of medjool date, ginger snap biscuit and dark chocolate on the nose. The palate is rich and complex with notes of peanut brittle, marasca cherry and a subtle bonfire smoke.
