70cl / 46% / McGibbon's - A 46% Port Ellen 1983 bottled from a refill butt by McGibbons (aka Douglas Laing) for their Provenance series. Described by the bottlers as 'well-balanced between sweet and smoky elements...mentholated...soft tar...sweetly smoked with a salty, leathery quality'. Sounds like textbook refill late PE to us.
