75cl / 13.5% - AA Badenhorst’s vineyards are on the slopes of Swartland’s Paardeberg Mountain, in South Africa’s Western Cape. Working with old vines, mainly dating back 50-70 years, Badenhorst champions attentive farming to allow for winemaking with minimal intervention. The Secateurs Chenin Blanc comprises of 80% dry land bush vines and 20% younger trellised vineyards, fermented spontaneously with native yeasts after gentle pressing. The nose presents flinty aromas with honey, orange blossom and stone fruit.
