70cl / 18% - This white wine-based bittersweet aperitif is named L’Aero D’Or, which translates as The Golden Aeroplane, and its label pays tribute to the first flight across the English Channel. It has a syrupy, sweet character with a delightful bitter edge; notes of citrus, mild quinine, flowers and warming spices filling the palate. The finish is long and lingering, with notes of bitter bark, gentle spices and elderflower blossom woven together.
