50cl / 18% - An excellent quality palo cortado from Bodegas Hidalgo la Gitana. The VOS designation â which stands for vinium optimum signatum â is applied only to sherries matured at least 20 years in oak. Prolonged aging has lent this wine a complex nose with walnuts, raisins and roasted almonds that gives way to a dry yet fruity palate of apricots, blood oranges and lemon zest.
