75cl / 50% - The founders of Wilderness trail first played in a band together before working as consultants to the spirits industry and then finally launching their own distillery in 2012. Their commitment to transparency – along with some very nice whiskies – has been winning them fans ever since. This high-rye Kentucky straight bourbon was bottled in 2022 after four years in a heavily-charred American oak cask. In the glass it shows notes of vanilla, caramel, black pepper and warming spices.
