Discover the fascinating world of reptiles and amphibians with the Ranger Guided Reptile and Amphibian Tour for Two at The Reptile Academy. During this engaging experience, you’ll go behind-the-scenes in one of the UK’s most unique reptile education centres. Led by one of the expert Reptile Rangers, the tour takes you through the facility to meet a wide variety of reptiles and amphibians while learning about their biology, behaviour, conservation and welfare. During the tour you'll encounter a diverse range of species including snakes, lizards, geckos, monitors, skinks, tortoises, turtles and amphibians. Your Ranger will share fascinating insights into reptile ecology, natural history and how reptiles are cared for in a welfare-focused educational environment. The Reptile Rangers will also choose animals that they think are appropriate to work with for your group. There will be plenty of interactive moments throughout, which may include opportunities such as touching certain species, feeding a variety of animals and even taking part in target training enrichment with the monitor lizards. You’ll also have entry to the Iguana Walkthrough Multi-Species Exhibit, a tropical enclosure where you can observe large iguanas and tortoises roaming in a carefully managed environment.
