The translucent Heritage Oak finish lets the grain of the wood remain visible beneath a durable satin sheen. It is particularly well suited to exterior joinery including doors, windows, and conservatories where timber is exposed to variable weather conditions. UV filters and water repellency built into the formula: The solvent-based formula incorporates advanced UV filters and water-repellent properties to guard against sun damage and moisture ingress over time. For new or bare timber, apply one coat of Sadolin Classic as a base coat first, followed by two coats of Sadolin Extra for the most durable finish. Touch dry in 4 to 6 hours at 20°C; recoat after 16 to 24 hours. Coverage and application: This 1-litre tin covers up to 15 m² per litre on planed softwood or hardwood, making it well suited for window frames, doors, and similar joinery tasks. Apply by brush only - spraying is not recommended. Ensure the timber surface is clean, dry, and structurally sound, with a moisture content not exceeding 18% before coating.
