The Whiteriver Acoustic Blue Plus Underlay is designed for use with laminate and engineered wood flooring. It helps to reduce noise, provides thermal insulation, and enhances floor stability. The underlay's durable construction ensures long-lasting performance and easy installation. It can significantly reduce noise from wooden and laminate flooring, and helps to level out any unevenness in the flooring. The underlay is available in a roll size of 3mm x 1m x 10m, covering an area of 10m2. It has a Tog rating of 0.88 and an impact sound reduction of 22dB. The underlay is suitable for use with underfloor heating systems, specifically those with a water-based system, and laminate flooring with a thickness of 8mm or more. The underlay has a compressive strength of very good and a heat transfer resistance of 0.088k/Wm2. It weighs 1kg per roll. To lay the underlay, ensure the subfloor is even, dry, clean, and pressure-resistant. Roll the underlay onto the floor parallel to the wall, at right angles to the direction in which you plan to lay the floor covering. The underlay can be trimmed with a cutter or sharp knife.
