The DCM305E was primarily designed for testing earth leakage currents; however, it also allows for TRMS (AC) current measurements of up to 100 A in the upper range. TRMS meters can measure both pure, undistorted sinusoidal AC waveforms and non-sinusoidal AC waveforms, which may include pulse sequences, triangles, peaks, and other distorted waveforms.
