Arc Fire Cement is a versatile product suitable for both domestic and commercial applications. It can be used on fire bricks, fire grates, flue pipes, flue bricks, boilers, and other areas exposed to extreme heat. The cement offers excellent adhesion to fire bricks, blockwork, stone, and clayware. To apply, remove dirt, dust, and other contaminants from the surface, and make sure the area is clean. Dampen the surface to improve adhesion. Use the cement straight from the tub without mixing, applying it with a trowel. Ensure the cement is pressed well into any cracks or gaps. After application, light a fire or apply heat, gradually increasing the heat over a 4-hour period. If fine cracks appear in the cement after curing, fill them with Fire Cement to achieve a smoke-tight finish. Clean tools with warm water and soap immediately after use.
