Rather than applying a separate primer and waiting for it to dry before ting, you mix E-B into the t itself - combining the bonding and first-coat stages into a single application. It is suitable for both interior and exterior use. Built for unstable and difficult surfaces: E-B is specifically formulated for chalky, powdery, and porous substrates - including crumbling brickwork, old render, and flaking ted surfaces - where ordinary t is prone to peeling. It penetrates deep into the surface and locks the first coat of t firmly to the substrate. It can also be used in place of a mist coat on new plaster, broadening its application to freshly plastered interiors. Improves coverage and bond strength: E-B's high solids content maintains the inherent characteristics of the t it is mixed with, improves hiding power, and increases coverage by up to 20%. The mixing ratio varies according to the condition of the surface: from 1 part E-B to 4 parts t on normally chalked surfaces, up to 1 part E-B to 1 part t on very porous or heavily degraded surfaces. Use E-B in the first coat only - do not add it to water-based gloss t for one-coat work. Low VOC and odour-free formulation: E-B is classified as non-flammable and carries a VOC content of a maximum of 220 g/l - well within the EU limit of 750 g/l for this product category (cat.
