Whiskies in this series are finished in a small cask to enhance the influence of the wood - in this case, a palo cortado sherry cask. Adding complexity as well as classic sherried richness, this whisky presents peat smoke, salt breeze and hints of seaweed over fruitcake and barley malt, before a long finish with more smoke and sea air.
