75cl / 14.6% - This medium-bodied Carmenere comes to us from the Aconcague Valley in Chile. Made by Swiss lawyer turned winemaker, Mauro von Siebenthal, the grapes are grown in the granite soils and long sunny days of the estate, before being picked, vinified, and aged in oak barrels for 12 months before bottling. They are then blended with a small amount of cabernet sauvignon. Expect aromas of plums and wild berries leading to cherries, spice, and oak on the palate.
