Inspired, of course, by the world’s most prestigious classic car endurance race which was revived in the 1970s, the Chopard Mille Miglia watch collection has become a popular collectable for motorsport fans and sports watch collectors alike. The timepiece takes residence upon the wrist with a 43mm case crafted from stainless steel and features a captivating adrenaline-infused blue dial achieved through galvanised and circular satin-brushed finishes. Oversized Arabic numerals at 12 and 6 o’clock have been treated with Super-LumiNova treatment, while a red and white decorated date window nods to the legendary race itself. The Chopard Mille Miglia GTS Power Control offers innovative features such as a 100-meter water resistant case, a COSC-certified movement, a power reserve indicator and a legible date display. The watch pays homage to Chopard’s involvement within the motorsport industry with this 500-piece limited edition model belonging to the Mille Miglia collection that was first released during the late 1980s. The watch is completed on a sporty blue perforated leather strap and is powered by the Chopard 01.08-C movement, capable of a 60-hour power reserve.
