70cl / 56.9% / North Star Spirits - A distillery whose output is rarely seen as a single malt, this 19-year-old Strathmill was bottled by Glasgow’s North Star having matured in a Pedro Ximénez hogshead. The nose presents aromatic and polished wood and sherry-soaked almonds. A full, thick and oily palate presents liquorice and tablet, developing into a sweet fruit bowl, stewed with muscovado.
