70cl / 50.1% / The Whisky Exchange - A sign associated with ambition and tenacity, this Macduff is a single malt with the weight and character to match. Aged 11 years in a re-charred barrel, it has the backbone to do a Capricorn proud. The nose is all apples, crisp and juicy, with brown sugar, cinnamon and a growing creaminess. The palate develops this, with additional hints of nut brittle, fig leaf and milk chocolate. A big whisky, with more than enough poise to do it justice.
